I’m in Trouble, I’m so cliche. See that word just wears me out.
It’s summer! Whoo-hoo!!
But I have no clue what I’m going to do until mid-July. In July I’m going to go see my friends and family!
Until then? Reading, computer…that’s about it. Don’t get me wrong, I love reading. Does that fill my need for summerness activities, though? Not really.
I’m so excited!! The 4th Gallagher Girl book is coming out at the end of the month! I cannot wait to read it.
And to see Harry Potter and The Deathly Hallows: Part 1.
But that doesn’t even come until November ![]()
Anyway, I didn’t really plan what I was going to say on this blog…so we’ll just go with it.
Is anyone else kind of worried about Eclipse? I love the book. I do. I’m just worried about how they portray it onscreen and how Rob and Kristen do. Because they didn’t do that fabulous of a job in the previous movies.
Okay, and also, about New Moon, did anyone else find it kind of unnecessary when Bella/Kristen was like “Kiss me.” in the very beginning and they kiss for a minute or something and they’re making those weird sounds?
Okay…it was just kinda awkward.
The other day, I was watching Annie, and I forget what year the movie was, but it was a lot less good than I was expecting. When she punches the boys, they added in this sound effect that made it sound like a big ol’ man was punching another man.
You know that part in 13 going on 30 where she says “30, flirty, and thriving.” over and over again? This is hard for me to say over and over again. I can say it pretty good the first time, okay the second time, and by the third time, I don’t even know what I’m saying anymore.
I realize that I say, “Okay,” and “So,” and “Well” way too much on the internet. In front of whatever I’m about to say.
So,- ha, just said it again. And that was not even on purpose.
Right now, I’m kinda really into Justin Bieber. I just love his voice.
Just sayin’.
And another thing? I’ve been realizing this about all the recent Disney movie sequels. Why are they all having kids? Seriously, Shrek 3- kids. Ice Age 3- kids…okay, I didn’t really think of any other ones, but I’m sure there’s more.
Oh! This reminds me. I watched Finding Nemo the other day (all part of my exciting first half of the summer).
I love Finding Nemo. I really do. I love Dory. She is hilarious.
I also watched The Proposal. (Also part of my exciting summer) This movie is hilarious. I’ve watched it many times. I absolutely love it, it’s just so funny.
The other day I was thinking about how many books and movies I’ve seen…and it would seem kinda sad to peers. Not to adults, though. Adults just love that I love to read. But really, my friends think it’s weird. I’m like, “I’m so excited for a new book to come out!” *Gets weird looks from most friends* But oh well, I have no intentions of stopping anytime soon.
One thing that really annoys me is that some people I know are really mean on the internet, then they act all nice to you in real life. I’m like, if they can’t say it to my/whoever they said something to’s face, then you are a coward and I don’t care what you say.
Also, when people send me chain letters saying something like, “You are an amazing friend and I never want to lose you. Send to 15 friends you really care about. If I don’t get this back, well I understand.”
And yes, I guess it’s sweet of them for sending me that. But it’s…ingenuine. I feel like if they really think I am a cool friend, they should say it to me. And when they send it to 15 people, it’s like, “Did you just send this to me to be nice to me, or am I actually one of your best friends?”
Anyway, I’m almost done here. But has anyone ever heard Alice In Videoland or The Offspring? They’re bands. And I really like them.
Also, I love Eminem. I love his music.
Last thing. My mom told me the story of when I stopped wearing diapers. And here I am to tell you.
I was 2, and we were in Disneyland. And at the time, I loved Disney princesses. (Still kinda do….) And I really, really wanted to be able to wear the Disney princess underwear. But my mom said I couldn’t wear them until I was potty-trained. And, you guessed it, I stopped needing diapers.
I find this amusing.
Okeydokey. As a signing off type thing.

Theatricality!
First topic of this blog- GLEE! (but no worries, there’s other stuff, too)
Okay, I LOVED this weeks episode, or last weeks, depending when this comes out.
But here I’m talking about the ‘Theatricality’ episode.
The outfits? Amazing. I especially loved Brittany’s and Quinn’s and Rachel’s. I loved the black in Brittany’s hair and the pink in Quinn’s.
I just have to say this. I love Kurt’s dad. I love him.
I do love Finn, and I understand in theory why he’s mad. And I’m glad he stood up for Kurt at the end. But that usually happens at the end.
AND I LOVE Idina Menzel!!!!!!!! She plays as Rachel’s biological mom, if you didn’t know. She is AMAZING! Oh my gosh, she and Rachel look SO much alike, it’s insane. They could actually be related. That is an crazy coincidence, how they cast Lea as Rachel, who looks a lot like Idina, and Idina, who can coincidentally, sing amazingly.
I CANNOT wait until the finale! I read that it’s going to be BIG. I’m so excited, and it’s out in about a week!
This is probably cliche, but Rachel is my favorite character out of all of them. I do love everybody else, but she’s my favorite. I just love her.
I love it, when Rachel wants to sing with her mom, and she calls the piano player (Bryan? Something like that) and says, “He just always around.” ![]()
And I love Tina’s little act when she pretends to be a vampire. I thought that this was hilarious.
On to the second topic of my one sided discussion, for now, is some people.
Now, I can’t make a FULL judgment, because I don’t know them in real life, and I just read one comment, on one video/post/whatever else. But I get really aggravated with some people over the internet.
Like, people who comment on videos on youtube, that they don’t like, and I’m thinking, “Then why did you watch it, and take the time to write a comment?!”
I know I shouldn’t get worked up about this kind of stuff, but I do.
For example, let’s take Justin Bieber. There are so many people questioning, “Is he even a boy?” or ,”He sounds like a prepubescent girl.”
Uh, I don’t know what kind of people these people hang out with, but, to me at least, he does not look like a girl.
And, my cousin, who is a girl, and seven, has a much higher voice, and does not sound like him.
And there are a TON of male singers that can sing high. It’s not a bad quality in a male singer.
It’s not like he’s just a studio artist, where he can’t sing live at all.
He can sing. And, in my opinion, he’s pretty good.
I mean, I think he should have some more song material, I like the tune and all, but it’s all about the same thing.
But there are so many artists that do that. Write, basically, the same song in different words. And they make well for themselves. I don’t see why he’s so different.
Another thing? And this kinda annoys me more. I know some people, that PRIDE themselves that they don’t care if they’re friend is gay. It’s OK by them. But then they go and use gay as an insult. “That’s so gay.” or “He’s gay.” People go around calling celebrities ‘gay’ as an insult. It shouldn’t be used like that. There are other definitions, such as happy, or liking the same gender. I don’t get what the big deal is. If you ask me, you should be with who you love, no matter what gender.
On to numero tres, and this also involves the internet. I don’t know about anyone else, but this is what is happening where I live.
Everybody here has a Facebook. And the crazy thing? These people insult each other so much over the internet, then act like they’re best friends at school. These people are cowards. I mean, I don’t go up to every person that I have a small problem with, and be mean to them. No, I try not to make enemies. But I don’t say it over the internet, either. And I usually only tell my best friend. I don’t go telling everybody but them. But it’s usually something small, and I can get over it. People probably get annoyed with me, too. I don’t doubt it. But insulting over the internet? Then acting all nice to each other at school? Cowardice. (I’m pretty sure I used that word in the right context, but I’m not sure.)
This is long, I know, but I like sharing my thoughts.
Last thing, I just finished reading, “The Secret Garden.” There was all this hype about it. My mom LOVES it. All of my friends who have read it LOVE it.
I found it really boring.
I mean, I liked the basic concept, but after a while, I got that the garden was growing and she was growing fatter and Colin was getting much better. I know some people love all this description, but, in this case, I found it boring. Sometimes I like it, sometimes I don’t.
Another book that we had to read this year, for school, was the Adventures of Tom Sawyer.
This was almost painful. I mean, I love to read, so I got through it. But it was adventure after adventure after adventure. One thing was solved, then another problem/adventure would come up, and here I am thinking, “When is it going to END?” And we had to write a mini-report for every chapter, and draw a picture, going along with it. So that might have added to the desire of finishing it. But I’m glad we read it in class, because otherwise, it would’ve been tougher to get through. Because I did need to read it at some point (I have a list of books I need to read.) Probably not reading again, though. But I never know, maybe, when I’m 60 or something I’ll have a strong desire to read it. I don’t know. But not in the near future.

Ecstatic! :D
Me, right now, and probably for the past 2 hours or so, I have been very happy. Well, and kinda sad, but the emotion that is covering that one up almost completely is happiness. And I had no clue why this made me so happy.
It was at 9 pm that I started to watch American Idol, and I was anxious. Very. Because I was worried about who would win. I mean, this was the finale! And I was kinda disappointed, because I missed the show before the results show. (Where the finalists compete for the last time) But either way, I knew who I wanted to win.
Lee Dewyze. He was who I wanted to be the next American Idol. I wanted it soooo badly. And me, being me, get worked up over these type of things. I mean REALLY worked up.
So, here I am, sitting through the 2 hour finale, waiting and waiting, thinking, “HURRY IT UP!! I WANT TO KNOW WHO WINS!!”
And then, 8 minutes left until the second hour is up…and Ryan dims the lights.
I’m sitting on the edge of my seat, crossing my fingers, repeating, “Lee Dewyze. Please be Lee. Lee, Lee.” in my head. And Ryan is making me so nervous, and I’m thinking, “What if it’s Crystal? Please don’t be Crystal.” (No offense to Crystal fans out there, but I like Lee better.) I was trying to prepare for disappointment, because I knew a lot of Crystal fans. And I see Lee’s look on his face, and it looked like he wanted it so much. I mean, Crystal probably did too, but I was paying attention to Lee. Plus, when asked why Lee was going to be the next American Idol, he gave a better answer than Crystal.
Crystal- “I should be the next American Idol because I want to give my son everything I never had.” Yeah, yeah, way to pull on the heartstrings.
Lee- “I should be the next American Idol because everybody has a time and place. And this is my time.”
I mean, shouldn’t you want to win American Idol because you love singing and performing? Not just because you want money and stuff like that to provide for your family? I’m sure Crystal loved singing, too, and it wasn’t just because she wanted money, but still. I think you should enter that competition, simply because you love singing and want to do it as a career.
And the next American Idol is…
Our living room is silent and still. My dad and I on the edge on our seats.
Lee Dewyze!
I jump out of my seat with a huge smile on my face.
My dad slams his hands down on the footrest. We both say, “YES!”
We both love Lee. We’re both excited. He’s like, “Yes, yes, I’m so glad he won.”
Me: “Me too!”
I have a big smile on my face while I’m watching Ryan ask him how he feels, and I laugh, because he looks so happy and overwhelmed. Then, Ryan announces Lee, singing Beautiful Day. Then, Lee starts singing. He looks like he’s almost in tears. But he doesn’t cry. At least not on TV. He sings the song amazingly. Like always. I mean, he IS the new American Idol.
After that, my dad goes back to work and Alex, my little brother, goes to bed.
My dad calls me in, and he says, “I like Crystal, I think she was good, but, I have to say, I would’ve been disappointed if she won, and Lee lost.”
Me: “Me too, tremendously.”
I still have this strange exhilaration, and I walk, well more like skip, to my room. I sit down on my bed, I have to tell someone of my excitement. I’m jumping up and down and smiling and all that jazz.
I can barely stand all this excitement. So what do I do? I start dancing, just to get some energy out. I want to tell EVERYBODY. I just want to share my happiness and excitement with everyone.
It’s 3 hours or so now, and I’m STILL excited. I still am. I don’t know why, I just am. I love Lee. I can’t wait to go up to my friends who all said Crystal was going to win and she was better, and I’m gonna be like, “HA!!”
The sad part, the thing that’s being overshadowed? Simon is leaving. He’s leaving American Idol. They did all this stuff for him, and it, surprisingly, made me a bit sad. I mean, what is American Idol going to be like without him? Sure, it will go on, but will it go on well? I don’t know, and all these things they did for him was really good, and I loved all of it.
One thing I loved about the finale, besides who won, was the ‘Pants on the Ground.’ THAT was HILARIOUS! That was so good. That’s going to be an American Idol legend.
Well, I guess that’s it for now. I’m still very happy about this predicament.
Oh, and one more thing?
I’m definitely going to be buying Lee’s CD.
2:30 Dance Sessions…In the Morning
I got on the computer at, say, 9:30pm. Well, I had my computer on, but I wasn’t really using it. And I got on sarah-land, but didn’t do much, I just had it on. I log into my Facebook and Myspace, but nobody is on, so I don’t really do much on there. So, I get on the Youtube. And I watch videos, which lead to watching more videos…
So, tonight, or this morning I guess, I was lying on my bed, surfing the web. And I didn’t feel tired at all. And I had this feeling of…restlessness. And I have a very strong urge to just get up and dance. I have no idea why, though, that I felt like doing this, but I did. So I put my laptop down on my bed and grabbed my iPod, and at first I was a little nervous, because I was afraid my dad would come in or something. But nobody did. And might I say, it helped very much. Now that it’s 3:50am, I’m starting to feel a hint of tiredness. I don’t know why I stay up so late, I really don’t.
On to another subject, there is this really funny movie called Kung Pow. It is hilarious. It isn’t my favorite movie, though, but it would make my top 5 or 10. I can’t really explain it. It’s a spoof.
My best friend and I, in second and/or third grade, everytime she came over to my house we would watch 13 going on 30. I don’t know why, but we felt the need to watch it over, and over, and over again. But I still like it, I think it’s really funny and good movie.
I recently watched Sherlock Holmes (the new one) for the second time. It is amazing. I love it. Robert Downey Jr. is so good. And the character Sherlock is so funny in this one.
I don’t know why I decided to talk about movies in this one, partially.
Oh well, ’til next time! Au revoir!
Glee!!
I am in complete love with Glee. And I LOVED the newest episode. I love it how Finn keeps trying to get Rachel. And I loved it when he sang ‘Jessie’s Girl’! I really loved (hahaha I’ve used love in every sentence so far) when Finn took Rachel to go see his friend, who got paralyzed after getting tackled in football. I thought that was really good. And I LOVED Puck and Mercedes’ duet! It was so funny when Puck walks in, without his mohawk, and Brittany says, “Who is that guy?”
Jane lynch is so amazingly funny. She is so funny in each episode, and I love her.
I felt so sad for Kurt. I mean, he tries all this stuff, just so him and his dad could bond, and it doesn’t work. Well, not really at first.
I loved the ‘Bad Reputation’ episode. I thought Rachel doing the ‘fantastically horrible’ song “Run, Joey, Run” was SO funny!
And then, when Kurt, Mercedes, Tina, Artie, and Brittany are in that room, discussing what they need to do to get a ‘bad’ reputation, and Kurt says, “We are going to make a disturbance in the library. And no, I am not just talking about trying to check out a reference book.” I love it.
I loved them dancing to all of these horrible songs, like “Ice Ice Baby”, I thought that dance was awesome. And also their little dance number in the library. And then the librarian comes up to them and says, “That was the cutest thing I’ve seen in a while. I’m going to ask my pastor if we can get you guys to perform it next weekend.”
I love glee.
sooooooooooooooooo much.
