Saycon Sengbloh Saycon Sengbloh, the national scholarship winner at the 1996 Donna Reed Festival for the Performing Arts, is co-starring this fall in “FELA!,” a Broadway production that uses Afrobeat music (a blend of jazz, funk and African rhythm and harmonies) to tell the story of Fela Anikulapo-Kuti’s controversial life as artist, political activist and revolutionary musician.
